maze
I draw mazes because I expect that they can be used as a device to relive the experience of painting. When I look at a painting, I use my eyes to thoroughly explore the surface of the painting. By doing so, I feel as if the movements of the artist who paints, the tension felt when applying paint to the surface, and even the movement of the artist's eyes are emerging from the surface of the painting.
